A Reminder: Masks are still required in the Green Phase

Home / Departments / Resources on COVID-19 / A Reminder: Masks are still required in the Green Phase

Cloth masks and homemade masks protect others from the droplets created by the wearer, so it is important that as many people as possible wear masks when leaving their homes. This helps prevent those who may be infectious but are only mildly symptomatic or not symptomatic from spreading the virus to others in the community.

My mask protects you and your mask protects me.

It's important that as restrictions are loosened that we still work to reduce the spread of the virus and prevent a spike in cases.

Guidance and instructions on how to make your own mask can be found here: https://www.chesco.org/4458/Coronavirus-COVID-19-Face-Mask-Guidance
