James P. Gallagher

Jim Gallagher was born in Darby, Pennsylvania, and is one of nine children. For the last 25 years, he has lived in Upper Chichester Township with his wife Noreen and their two children, Jamie and Andrew.

Jim was proud to follow in the footsteps of his Father by entering Steamfitters Local Union 420’s five-year Apprenticeship Program, where he learned the values of hard work and loyalty. He has worked as an Apprentice, Journeyman and a Foreman on jobsites across Delaware County and the greater Philadelphia region.

In addition to his work, Jim has been an active member of the community serving as baseball and softball coach, commissioner of the Chichester Baseball League, member of the Knights of Columbus and a former member of his local Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) board. Jim is also very active in a winter coat drive which he helps organize within the Steamfitter’s Local 420 and the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP).

Jim cares deeply about his community and believes it is important to make sure that it continues to be a great place to live, work, and raise a family.
