The Delaware County Court of Common Pleas utilizes videoconferencing using IP to allow witnesses throughout the nation to testify live in our court.

Testimony in our court may be given live or recorded on DVD through videoconferencing from almost every state in the country. Anyone interested in using Videoconferencing in the court may contact Legal Audio Visual or read the Other Videoconferencing Fees and Procedures.

The court has been conducting hearings with defendants housed at State Correctional Institutions (SCI's) throughout Pennsylvania, state and federal correctional institutions in other states and other county prisons.

Additionally, Juvenile Court uses videoconferencing between the Delaware County Courthouse and the Juvenile Detention Center in Lima for right to detain and other hearings, and conducts review of placement hearings with statewide placement facilities.

The Adult Probation and Juvenile Court offices in Upper Darby, Chester and Sharon Hill, as well as CYS and Mental Health Court, have videoconference units.
