Mental Health Services in Delaware County

Delaware County offers a wide range of mental health services to support residents of all ages. The County’s Office of Mental Health is here to help connect individuals and families to care, whether you’re looking for ongoing treatment, residential support, or help navigating a crisis.


Mental Health Office Services

Residents can contact the Delaware County Mental Health Office at 610-713-2365 or DelcoHSA@co.delaware.pa.us for information and assistance accessing these services:

  • Outpatient individual and group therapy
  • Administrative case management and blended case management services
  • Psychiatric rehabilitation services
  • Certified peer specialist services
  • Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services
  • Crisis residential services
  • Residential treatment services for adults
  • Respite services for children
  • Hi-Fidelity Wraparound services for children
  • Mobile Crisis Team services
  • Stabilization-Triage-Assessment-Referral services

Crisis Services

For residents experiencing an immediate mental health crisis:

  • If someone is in imminent danger of harming themselves or others, call 911
  • For voluntary inpatient treatment, contact your social worker, psychiatrist, or therapist, or visit the Stabilization-Triage-Assessment-Referral Program at 2200 Providence Avenue, Chester, PA 19013.
  • For on-site help, call the Mobile Crisis Team at 1-855-889-7827, available 24/7. The team can assess the situation, help with involuntary commitment petitions if needed, and arrange transport to a hospital emergency department.

The County also offers a 24/7 Peer Warm Line at 1-855-464-9342, where trained peers provide support for anyone struggling emotionally who needs someone to talk to.
