Sessions were centered around the County’s sixsustainability focus areas of natural resources, energy and efficiencies, transportation, zero waste, climate resiliency and health and wellness, while also touching onemerging trends in sustainability such as regenerative farming, gas-powered leaf blower bans, and cumulative impact legislation. Delaware County was also thrilled to host delegates from Pingtung County, Taiwan, whoshared their innovative solutions to climate change! The Conference concluded with an engaging in-person Keynote presentation at the Lazaretto Ballroom, from local celebrity and beloved meteorologist, Glenn “the Hurricane” Schwartz, followed by an exposition of more than 30 local organizations, businesses, and sustainability heroes for networking and collaboration.
