Delaware County Election Seeking Poll Workers for May 17 Primary Election

Home / Elections / Elections News / Delaware County Election Seeking Poll Workers for May 17 Primary Election

The Delaware County Bureau of Elections is seeking additional voters to serve in paid poll worker positions in certain precincts on Election Day, Tues., May 17.

All poll workers must be registered voters in Delaware County (but cannot be employees of the County, or elected officials of any jurisdiction).

Poll workers who are appointed from now through Election Day will be considered emergency appointments, and as such do NOT need to live in the municipality of the polling place where they will serve, so long as they are registered voters in Delaware County. Experienced poll workers are encouraged to apply.

Base pay for poll workers is $140 ($150 for those who serve as Judge of Election), plus $100 for those who review online training materials and then pass the online Poll Worker test by 8 p.m. Mon., May 16.
