Urgent Message

While closed to public access, Domestic Relations personnel continue to insure support payments are distributed and are available to serve clients in need of assistance. Please e-mail the office at to receive help with your case.

The Domestic Relations Office will continue to conduct telephonic contempt conferences with non-custodial parents to determine possible enforcement action and employment status. By mid-June 2020, the Domestic Relations Office will hold telephonic establishment conferences beginning with the earliest filing date, in cases where the non-custodial parent is alleged to have an income source.

A plan is being developed to shortly resume Domestic Relations master hearings. Until approved for implementation, hearings will remain in abeyance.

The court will continue making reasonable efforts to keep scheduling ad hoc lists of Domestic Relations appeals and/or contempts, while efforts remain ongoing to develop a systemized plan for these matters being set in a weekly recurring manner.

The motion judge will continue to hold by video conferencing seventy-two (72) hour hearings as needed.

You can check for payments and manage your case 24/7 at Payments can be made electronically on that site, or through our Ncourt website at or by calling 1-877-793-7955.

We remain committed to insure custodial parents receive the support they depend on for their children. Thank you for your patience during this time of emergency and stay healthy.

Welcome to the Domestic Relations Department of Delaware County that serves as the county’s child support enforcement agency under the supervision of the Court of Common Pleas.

We assist parents in obtaining the financial support necessary for children to grow and succeed in life.

To that end, the Domestic Relations Department prepares petitions for both child and spousal support; establishes paternity for children born out of wedlock; establishes and enforces support orders; and locates absent non-custodial parents.

Please note the Domestic Relations Department does not handle custody, protection from abuse or divorce.
