Forum designed to help businesses boost visibility, strengthen customer engagement, and enhance financial readiness ahead of the anticipated surge in activity surrounding 2026 regional events
Delaware County Council, Bank of America, the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, and America250 are inviting small business owners, entrepreneurs, and local organizations to register for the 2026 Be Seen: Small Business Forum, taking place Tuesday, December 9, 2025, from 8 to 11 a.m. at the 20th Century Club, 84 S. Lansdowne Avenue in Lansdowne.
With 2026 anticipated to generate substantial economic momentum throughout the region, the forum will help local businesses prepare for the surge in activity connected to the FIFA World Cup, America250 celebrations, the MLB All-Star Game, and the PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club. These major events are expected to bring dramatic increases in regional tourism, visitor spending, and demand for local services—creating new opportunities for small and midsize businesses across Delaware County.
Attendees will hear directly from County leaders, regional event partners, and Bank of America’s financial experts on how to position their businesses for greater customer traffic, stronger visibility, improved customer engagement, and long-term financial readiness ahead of this historic year.
The morning will include breakfast, networking, and opening remarks from County Council Chair Dr. Monica Taylor, followed by an overview of the unprecedented economic opportunities coming to Delaware County in 2026, including two expert-led panel discussions.
The first panel, from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m., is a Delaware County and Chamber-led discussion moderated by Delaware County Chamber of Commerce President Trish McFarland, featuring representatives from Visit Delco, America250PADelco, and the Philadelphia Union, focusing on how the region is preparing for the surge of activity expected next year.
A Bank of America Financial Readiness Panel will follow from 9:30 to10:15 a.m., moderated by Bank of America Market Executive David Chick. This discussion will highlight insights from members of Bank of America’s financial team, offering guidance on strengthening business readiness, managing growth, and positioning for long-term success.
Local business owners, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit leaders are encouraged to attend and explore how they can tap into the opportunities 2026 will bring.
Registration is required and available through the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce’s event calendar at DelcoChamber.org. The cost to attend is $20.
