9/24/2026 Update: 2nd Annual Rally for Recovery will take place at Governor Printz Park in Essington, Pa. from 5pm-7pm. This is a family friendly event to celebrate those in recovery and share hope with others. This is also National Save a Life Day. Government offices, organizations and others will be giving out free Narcan that day. Click here for a complete list of sites.

9/16/2026 Update:The Delco Doula Collaborative and Delcodoula.org are up and running. Created through a partnership between Family Village at The Foundation for Delaware County and DCHD, this collaborative will help connect families with trusted maternal health support throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and beyond. This initiative reflects our commitment to improving outcomes for families and helping address the unacceptable rates of maternal and infant mortality in Delaware County.

2nd Edition of DCHD Municipal Newsletter: DCHD released its next quarterly newsletter in July 2026.  It was emailed to all municipalities in the County to share information about DCHD and what we do every day to promote public health in our community.  Volume 2 is available here.

Crozer/Prospect Medical Holdings Updates: DCHD continues to provide updates on our website. Please continue to reach out to DCHD’s Wellness Line at (484) 276-2100 for assistance.  Please note, residents can still request their medical records on their own, as well as request a $35 refund if they previously paid for their medical records, on the Morgan Medical Records website.

CHIP: The Delaware County Health Department (DCHD) is pleased to announce the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP) 2024-2028, a strategic guide to address key health priorities in the county. Developed through a comprehensive assessment and community collaboration.

DCHD encourages residents to review the CHIP, which is available on the Delaware County website, /health/community-health-improvement-plan. Findings from the Community Health Assessment can be found at /health/cha, including a new Asthma Addendum released March 2026.
