Summary
The NFT Clerk provides clerical support for the Sheriff’s Office, completing daily assignments from the Supervisor with accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Essential Duties
- Completes daily clerical assignments as directed by the Supervisor
- Prepares, files, and maintains documents and records for the Sheriff’s Office
- Ensures accuracy, organization, and confidentiality of records
- Performs other related clerical duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must be a resident of Delaware County for at least two (2) years prior to appointment
- Legible handwriting required
- One (1) to two (2) years of clerical and/or general office experience
- Familiarity with Windows operating system and Microsoft Office programs
Preferred Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks on schedule
- Knowledge of general office practices and procedures
Computer Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear. The employee may occasionally need to walk, stand, bend at the waist, and lift or move items.
