Delaware County to Celebrate National Senior Citizens Day on Thursday, August 20 in Brookhaven

Delaware County is celebrating National Senior Citizens Day on August 20, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the Redwood Center in Upland Park (280 6th Street, Brookhaven, PA 19015). The event, which is designed to celebrate and honor Delco’s older adults, will include bingo, Name That Tune, prizes, light refreshments, and much more.

The Delaware County Office of Services for the Aging (COSA), Delaware County Libraries, and Delaware County Parks and Recreation are teaming up to celebrate everything that seniors bring to Delaware County. Residents are encouraged to bring a friend or come to meet new friends who share similar interests.

This year’s event will be Delaware County’s 28th National Senior Citizens Day celebration, although the day was officially established in 1988.
