Missing in America Project to Perform Dignified Transfer of Remains of 15 Previously Unclaimed Veterans on Friday, August 14

The previously unclaimed cremains of 7 US Army, 4 US Marine Corps, 3 US Air Force and 1 US Navy veterans will receive a proper military funeral with full military honors.

Annville, Pennsylvania – The MISSING IN AMERICA PROJECT will conduct a ceremony in Pennsylvania. Seven (7) US Army, four (4) US Marine Corps, three (3) US Air Force, and one (1) US Navy veterans, whose unclaimed cremated remains have been in the custody of the Delaware County Medical Examiner’s Office will be honored at 12 PM, Friday, August 14, 2026, at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.

The dignified transfer of cremains will begin at 10 AM, from the Delaware County Medical Examiner’s Office (340 N. Middletown Rd., Media, PA 19063) to Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Anyone wishing to participate in this procession must be present for the pre-ride safety briefing provided 15 minutes before departure.

The purpose of the MISSING IN AMERICA PROJECT is to locate, identify and inter the unclaimed cremated remains of veterans, and their eligible dependents, through the joint efforts of private, state and federal organizations; to provide honor and respect to those who have served this country, by securing a final resting place for these forgotten Heroes.
