Essential Duties
- Coordinates the day-to-day activities related to the filing and processing of Civil and Criminal actions.
- Provides telephone and counter assistance to judges (and staff), attorneys, the public, etc.
- Identifies services needed and appropriate work or paperwork to be completed.
- Ensures documents are accurately identified, classified, processed and stored.
- Processes Civil, Criminal and Dependency actions by entering information into computer system to initiate the docket entry process.
- Collects fees and prepares receipts.
- Monitors and assigns work to Clerks.
- Receipts money throughout the day; prepares daily deposits, balances cash drawer, reconciles receipts and funds.
- Monitors department's overall computer operations.
- Monitors all computer system enhancements and trains staff on existing and new computer programs.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Four years experience in the Office of Judicial Support; or comparable experience in a regulatory agency, court or legal setting including two years minimum in a supervisory capacity; or any combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform essential functions of the job.

Residence Requirement: The County of Delaware has a residency requirement for employees. Anyone applying for this job must reside in Delaware County or be willing to move to the County within six months of starting employment.
