Summary

The Intellectual Disabilities Program Specialist 1 is responsible for monitoring activities related to compliance with the Administrative Entity (AE) and AE Operation Agreement. You will have direct oversight to review and analyze plan authorization as well as service utilization to support the capacity management decisions. This position provides the opportunity to take part in the statewide Certified Investigators Training. Upon completion, you will become a Certified Investigator able to carry out investigations as assigned. Incumbents are expected to maintain the Certified Investigator certification for this role. 

 

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements

  • Two years of professional experience in the field of intellectual disabilities, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
