The Delaware County Recorder of Deeds began accepting electronically recorded documents in late 2020 from four submitting vendors. Many costumers such as mortgage companies, attorneys, banks and title companies are able to upload and submit documents. Some savings can be realized in postage, paper and copying costs. Documents, after e-recording, are returned to the customer via their submitter. Only those document types accepted for recording through the regular mail are also acceptable for e-recording.
