The former firehouse building at 767 Beech Avenue in Glenolden is now a County-operated facility and community center space for educational/recreational programming and room rentals.
In addition to the bay housing the Delaware County Health Department’s Wellness on Wheels (WoW) mobile unit, the building features a Banquet Hall and a modern Conference/Training room.
Beech Avenue’s Banquet Hall accommodates up to 75 people and can be used for a variety of activities, such as exercise classes, birthday parties, baby showers, team dinners, and more. It features a working kitchen, tables and chairs, and open floor space.
The Conference/Training room offers a modern meeting space for up to 35 people, containing conference tables, chairs, and streaming capabilities.
